oh look, i got laid off again.

Last Friday, I experienced my second lay off of 2023. Pretty sure this isn't the back-to-back Drake was referring to but we persevere.

I've done a lot of different things in my career so, naturally, this layoff has encouraged me to take stock of what ✨I love to do✨ and how I want to spend my time going forward.

I'm a creative through and through and I have absolutely zero chill when it comes to creating, building, and delivering projects, products, and deliverables across Design, Product Marketing, and Product.

I have worked as a:

My B2B industry experience spans across MarTech, DevOps, finance tech, sales tech, health tech, PLM, technology/IT, and cyber security. That’s 11 years in SaaS for ya, baby! Series A and B hive stand up. Oh, and not to mention DTC, music, and SMB as a B2C freelancer.

I’ve done a lot of stuff and worn every possible hat a Startup can throw at you.

So What’s Next

As I look to the future and continue to listen as the Universe nudges and shouts (I hear you, message received) I have decided to move forward as a full-time freelancer while I work to get State Champs first IRL location up and running (stay tuned).

Being able to work across different projects and mediums is something I naturally fit into and to be totally honest, something I am very much looking forward to. And something I can finally give full focus and energy toward full-time without balancing a FTE.

…from a deck design to positioning projects to cleaning up jira boards to graphics to podcast editing and video to strategy… I’m here for it. I’m excited to work on different types of projects and have fun creating cool shit with cool people. I’m available on a project basis or by retainer.
